My new obsession is looking at the weather app. That's possibly the worst part of autism - you never know what your next fixation will be and sometimes it's something that annoys even you.
I don't "do laundry", I check for wind speed and humidity levels and run material types through an online calculator that tells you the minimum time it takes for something to dry. Sometimes I want to chuck the laundry basket in the bin, but then everyone would be walking around with no clothes on.
This new spiral is purely down to my environment, which is pure chaos. I work with idiots, I work with sexist people, and I work with those who can't think for themselves. I work with people who demand too much. I then go home to people who can't rinse the shower down after each use and who leave crumbs on the chopping board.
All in all, finding calm in that chaos is very hard. And so I fixate on the weather app, and find the days when my laundry can be perfectly dry.
